We grow a lot of blackcurrants to make our berry-licious Ribena, which we couldn’t do without our trusty farmers and the wonderful wildlife on our Ribena farms.
Our six-point plan, includes measures around the conservation of hedgerows, and use of wild flowers and bird boxes, to ensure we farm in a nature friendly way;
Grass margins are a wonderful habitat for bees, butterflies and other insects this supports the pollination of the berries and the encouragement of insects that feed off crop pests.
Our hedgerows provide natural shelter for our crops, shielding them from the wind and giving food, shelter and breeding sites for our wildlife.
Nest boxes provide birds with shelter and safety from predators and we have over 2000 of them around the country.
We keep our green headlands green and as wild as we can as these areas are an ideal habitat for bumblebees, brown hares and grey partridges.
Planting native trees helps provide wildlife with food and safety for the future and protecting our ancient trees on farms and stacking deadwood protects even more species such as stag beetles.
We sow our Ribena wildflower mix around our blackcurrants which supports the native bee population and improves our berry yield.

Since 2007, our juicy-licious drinks have been packaged in bottles made from 100% recycled plastic (excludes cap and label).
And now, the bottles have also been redesigned to have a smaller sleeve, which helps what we call 'bottle to bottle' recycling too.
