We open on a posh restaurant kitchen.
A lone blackcurrant is looking longingly out through an open window to the sunshine and blue skies beyond.
In the distance it can glimpse the Ribena farm. |

|
We see the blackcurrants still on the bush look back at it.
Suddenly, the sound of banging causes the blackcurrant to bounce up and down. |
|
|
| |
| |
|
|
 |
|
And off its
shelf onto a chopping board. An enormous cleaver plunges into a wooden block, sending the blackcurrant up into the air, perilously between the blades of some hanging knives. |

|
| |
|
The blackcurrant lands on the rim of a pot of boiling red soup.
|
|
 |
| |
| |
|
|
|
|
Where it comes to rest for a second, looking back toward a
liquidiser.
Which spring into action and turns the contents to a pulp. |

|
|
|
|
Our
blackcurrant falls backwards onto a gas hob. |

|

|
The gas ignites, sending the blackcurrant into the air, then across a work surface where it narrowly misses chopping and mashing implements.

|
The blackcurrant slowly comes to a rest, before sneezing in some flour and falling off the work surface onto the lid of a metal bin.

|

| |
|
|

|
Which suddenly flaps open and splats the blackcurrant against the white wall.

We cut to see a load of blackcurrants dropping into a vat in the Ribena factory.
We see the swirling purple sea swallow them up.
